We are delighted to announce our next webinar on “Introduction to Hospital Social Work” on June 20th, Saturday from 7.00pm to 8.30pm. The objective of this session is to provide us with an overview of social workers’ roles and practices in various units and speciality areas in the hospital as well as the skill set required to perform this job.
Hospital social workers play a significant role in enabling patients to have a better health care experience. As an inter-disciplinary team member, hospital social workers work directly with patients and their families/carers to minimize the negative impact of illness and hospitalization.
Our speakers are well experienced social workers from different areas of practice. We are looking forward to this wonderful learning opportunity.
